Today is "Hiroshima no hi.(The day of Hiroshima)"
It has been 63 years since the atomic bomb was dropped in Hiroshima.
Ah, time is getting on...

I myself was born in Hiroshima, so my grandma is now living there.
And when I was a little, I used to listern her sad story and her experiences.
It was so terrible. My great-uncles were killd by the A-bomb, I heard.
What is peace? What is war?
No one don't know the answer.

Preparation for Ferris Festival

As you know, there is a big event in this fall.

It is ☆★Ferris Festival 2008★☆　

I belong to ESS(English Speaking Society) at Ferris university, so our club members decided to serve food and drink to visiters.

Now we're preparing busily!

By the way, do you like the U.K.?

Actually, the concept of this year is "Cafe in the United Kingdom ."

We'll serve not only delicious coffee and tea, but also BLT sandwiches.

And more! We'll wear a pritty uniform! Wow!!

But why will we wear the uniform?

Because...talking of the U.K., we always remember "maid-san."

(but this is only Japanese people's thinking, maybe)

So we'll be made up as a maid-san!!
